Part-time Receptionist

The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for residents, staff, family members and the public. Customer Service knowledge and principles of good customer relations are a must. Must have the ability to work effectively with people in a variety of professions. Speak and write clearly and be reliable, cooperative, and congenial with staff, families and clients. Answer telephone, with exceptional telephone etiquette, take and relay messages to appropriate staff and residents. Responsible for greeting all “walk-in” clients and visitors and assisting prospective clients with a facility brochure in preparation for a facility tour. Completing maintenance work orders for residents and staff as needed. Respect residents’ rights with dignity and privacy.

Potential employees will be required to complete a background check, drug screening, and TB screening before any offer of employment is given.

1st, 2nd & 3rd shift – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Must provide caring; competent; personal care to our residents in an environment free from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Respect residents’ rights with dignity and privacy. Candidate will have current unexpired PN License for the State of Virginia and current CPR and First aid certification. Willing to follow the Standards and Regulations that govern an assisted living facility. Abide by all regulations, proper infection control practices and HIPAA guidelines. Employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Prior long term care and Alzheimer’s experience is helpful.

We are looking for a caring, compassionate, dependable and professional individuals to assist with the activities of daily living (ADL’s), bathing, dressing, and hygiene, along with helping with mobility to and from meals and activities.  Provide caring competent personal care to our residents in an environment that is free from abuse, neglect and exploitation.

RMA (Med Tech ) 2nd & 3rd shift

Be a part of our team! Mountainside Senior Living has expanded and now offers Dementia Related Diseases and Alzheimer’s Specialized Care Neighborhood.

We are seeking compassionate and detailed oriented RMAs. Qualified candidate will administer oral and external medications to residents under direction and supervision of nursing staff. Abide by proper infection control practices, residents rights and HIPAA guidelines. Must have a valid Medication Aide License from the Virginia Board of Nursing. CPR and First aid certification preferred. Willing to follow the Standards and Regulations that govern an Assisted Living Facility and Alzheimer’s unit.

Dietary Aide - Full Time

Dietary Aides needed. Experience in food services with knowledge of sanitary practices preferred. Under the supervision of the Food Services Manager, you will assist with the food/meal services of the Food Services Department. Ability to follow oral and written instructions is a quick learner and willing to work various hours/shifts. Employees in this position must be able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Must have a love of working with the elderly. Must provide caring competent personal care to our residents in an environment that is free from abuse, neglect and exploitation. Evening Prep Cook

The Cook for Mountainside Senior Living will help manage day to day activities of the kitchen, including occasional supervision of staff. Dietary provides 3 meals and 3 snacks a day, 7 days a week. Provides high quality meals, ensuring food meets the individual nutritional needs of residents. Must maintain a sanitary kitchen at all times.

Work schedule: Monday - Friday 11:30AM to 8:00PM.

Must have working knowledge of overall kitchen operations; be knowledgeable of use of standardized kitchen equipment; possess good communication skills; have the ability to supervise and be a team player; have the ability to plan ahead and follow schedules; be able to coordinate multiple kitchen operations. Must be able to lift 30+ pounds. Other duties and responsibilities required and as assigned.
